Jacqui Malins
Ally Program Coordinator and Non-Indigenous Facilitator
NSW & ACT
Jacqui Malins is a non-Indigenous Ally and an Accredited Facilitator with Evolve Communities, residing on the traditional lands of the Ngunawal and Ngambri people in Canberra. Jacqui’s career spans government, arts, and consultancy, which collectively enhance her facilitation of Yarning Circle Workshops.
Her multidisciplinary arts practice, which includes poetry, spoken word, performance, video, sculpture, and installation, equips her with unique skills to engage and captivate corporate groups in Wollongong and Canberra. Jacqui’s work as a facilitator at Evolve is deeply informed by her background in social policy and public administration, particularly her last role with the Australian Institute of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Studies, which has profoundly deepened her understanding and appreciation of Indigenous history and culture.
Jacqui’s personal interests in science, nature, and environmental and cultural interrelationships resonate strongly with First Nations wisdom, strengthening her commitment to sharing and promoting this knowledge.
As a confident presenter and enthusiastic collaborator, she relishes the opportunity to learn from and alongside her Indigenous colleagues, continuously deepening her practice of Allyship while inspiring others to do the same.
